Maple Dijon Marinade for Chicken and Pork

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • optional spices: basil, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, garlic salt add to taste

Method
 

  1. Mix all ingredients together and whisk until combined well.
  2. Combine marinade with chicken or pork in a gallon freezer bag and toss until marinade coats everything. Open up a section of the bag very carefully take out some air and seal the bag.
  3. For every pound of meat, you will need about 1/2-2/3 cup of marinade to coat.
